Merci Dario is a small thank you to someone who left more behind than memories. Without him, there would simply be no beginning to Bébé Bleu Ciel and no first connection to the Côte d’Azur. The photograph captures Dario in another time, young, somewhere between the road and whatever came next. In France he was Dario. To us, he was Dadu. Printed on the back and finished with Bisou, the image becomes less about looking back and more about carrying something forward. Some people stay with you in ways that are difficult to explain. This one is for Dario. Merci, Dadu. And somehow, we still share the same baby blue sky.
